Cuneform tablets, Ziggurats and Cybertron: And than the cave wall came falling down. Closed RP with thedarkspy.
He sighed and nudged her to her feet. -come on. Stopping now will just get us killed.- he glanced back the way they came, sighing. That path was blocked by a ton of rocks that had broken off from the ceiling. The only way now was deeper in the mine. -just follow me and do not breath fire or scrap your claws on the walls. Don’t touch the wall if you can. I smell sulfur, and that’s a bad sign. I think I know why they abandoned this mine…sudden explosions.-
Rosaria signed softly. She wanted a small break but understood the danger they where in. She follows Soundwave and looked at around till she heard the least bit of what he said. “Sudden explosions? That’s pretty bad to say the least…” She kept her tail from swing and kept around away from the walls. “Another thing that just came to me is that their was suppose to be a volcano area this area. I thought it was one of those sleeping ones but,… I know wonder if it might actually be active. We could be in really big trouble.” The red femme said walking closely behind him.
He nodded, sighing as they came to a point where the cave/mine branched off into two different directions. -…this is going to be harder than I thought…-
Rosaria come to a stop beside him. “Indeed…” She stated looking in both directions. “Well…” She walked between the two halls before turning to Soundwave. “In the one on the right I can smell water. But.. I the other I feel a slight breeze..” She looked between the two. “What do you think? Water or wind?” She asked him.
Wind could mean an opening, but so could water. He briefly wondered if the windy tunnel could even be a wind cavern. A wind cavern would tear them apart…they couldn’t risk that. -water.-
"Alright. Water it is." She said and walked into the left hall. It felt less hot in this hall too. A relief from the heat that the storm was bringing on. “It smells pretty nice here. Cooler and fresh. Must be more water up ahead than I thought there would be." She stated looking back to him. “Maybe it’s a river and not a stream."
He nodded, drawing in a breath and letting it out slowly. He strained to listen, hearing the quiet squeaks of bats and the echoes of their footsteps on the stone ground. -let’s hope its not a fast moving river then.-
She nods to his words. “Yes. Let’s hope so. Or we might get dragged along with it. Well maybe if it is a river we can walk along it. We might not have to go into the water.” She hoped so at least. But it was probably wishful thinking. “Can you swim?” She asked him looking back at him.
-of course.- to him, that was an unneeded question. Swimming was a hobby of his, it allowed him to relax while also getting plenty of exercise. He’d always been asked if he swam; his wings were perfectly suited to treading water. -do you?-
